Kevin Bryant
Kevin was born in Binghamton, New York in 1960 and is a dual citizen having spent the first half of his life in the US and the second in the United Kingdom.
Kevin is first and foremost a 25-plus year student of Yang (Yeung) Family Tai Chi Chuan and also a 19-plus year teacher. He has studied with the greats of Yeung Family Kung Fu.
He began his tuition with Chu Gin Soon (Boston, USA), the second disciple of Yang Sau Chung. In 1998, after relocation for work to London, England, he was introduced to Jim Uglow (London), Direct Student of Yang Sau Chung's daughter, Yeung Ma Lee sifu. Jim is the premier Yeung Family exponent in Europe. He has a 40-plus year legacy of teaching, training, and sharing the essence of Tai Chi Chuan and Yeung Family Kung Fu (Jim Uglow’s website).
Kevin became a disciple in 2007 and has accompanied his teacher on many trips (15) to Hong Kong to train with Yang Ma Lee sifu and her husband James as well as once in a lifetime training opportunites in the US and London.
Kevin is most interested in the Family’s art not just as a martial art but as an ‘operating system’ for life - self defense in its greatest sense, a path toward physical, mental, and spiritual transformation.
In his ‘spare time’, Kevin is the CEO of a global reputation management company, Educated Change. With more than 50 staff, Kevin and his team help senior executives connect, engage and share their light digitally with the people who matter in their professional and personal lives.
Kevin lives in Brighton/Hove with his wife of 37 years and has three wonderful children and one amazing grandson!
